By IHC of formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded cellular blocks, we showed an association between resistance to oxaliplatin and 5-FU and the amount of p-IGF-1R in the nuclear compartment (R=0.604 and 0.738 for the nine CRC cell lines and for the set of DLD-1, DLD-1-OxR, HT29, HT29-OxR, SW1116 and HCT116, respectively.
