Next, we sought to assess the effect of BSFs that express high level of AUF1 on the response of breast cancer cells to chemotherapeutic drugs....Figure 6A shows that exposing BC cells to TCF64-ORF-SFCM resulted in a significant increase in their resistance to both cisplatin and docetaxel as compared to controls....These results reveal that BSFs that express high level of AUF1 protect breast cancer cells from the cytotoxic effects of cisplatin and docetaxel in a paracrine manner.
