The effects of PD-0332991 on proliferation, cell-cycle, apoptosis, and Rb phosphorylation using a panel of 40 established human ovarian cancer cell lines was examined….In contrast, cell lines with high expression of p16 (CDKN2A, r = 0.69, P < 0.001), or high expression of cyclin E1 (CCNE1, r = 0.58, P < 0.001) were associated with higher IC50 values and thus more resistant to PD-0332991.
