    My understanding is that this is a rare BRAF fusion that is more commonly seen in melanoma and may be more sensitive to MEK inhibitors; There are some anecdotal cases to single agent MEK. Hope that helps! @VUMC_Cancer @VUMChealth #crcsm #BRAFfusion #rarecancers #cancer (@CathyEngMD)

    Smart chemotherapies (ADC) appear as major players’ #ESMO20 (ie IMMU-132, etc). A HER3 directed ADC demonstrated a 25% ORR in heavily pretreated EGFR #lcsm (86% with osi, 90% CT, 40% PD(L)1) including EGFR C797S, MET ampl, HER2 mut, BRAF fusion, PI3K mut patients. ILD was 5.3%. (@jsoriamd)

    Had a case of Alk rerranged NSCLC progressed on crizo->Ceritinib->Alectinib- >lorlatinib. NGS revealed AlK rearrangement with BRAF fusion .The response to Lorlatinib + Trametinib was fantabulous .Although one can call this anecdotal (@oncologician)

    Same here ,Had A BRAF fusion with NRF-1 in a AlK rearranged NSCLC with excellent response to Lorlatinib + Trametinib (no Dabrefenib along as per preclinical data ) .Was a challenge to go increase Trametinib dose beyond 1mg due to skin toxicity (@oncologician)

    Yes and this is after BRAFi failed .These MEKi are amazing .FYI - In BRAF fusion ( incidence 60% in Pleomorphic Xanthoastrocytoma) only MEKi are used ,BRAFi not indicated .Also ,A dediff thyroid ca is made responsive to RAI by using MEKi .Lets but their shares and invest 😀 (@oncologician)
